What is Belmour?

Belmour is a private membership for wine cellar owners in the United States and Canada.

It forms groups of eight to ten verified cellar owners, runs a structured first-year program for each group, certifies every member's cellar once a year, and publishes a monthly letter for people who keep wine.

Belmour does not sell wine, ship wine, or take a commission on any wine sale. Membership is the only thing it sells.

  1. The same group of eight to ten owners, for a full year.
  2. Your cellar certified once a year, from photographs and logged temperature.
  3. $350 a year, one payment. Entry by request, verified by cellar.

Verified owners

Who Belmour is for

Belmour is for owners of a dedicated, cooled wine cellar in the United States or Canada who hold wine for years and want a room of people who can read what they built.

Some members have collected for decades. Others built their cellar recently and want to hold it properly from the start. The two sit in the same groups, and each brings what the other lacks.

Belmour is not for people shopping for a first wine fridge, restaurants, trade buyers, or anyone looking for wine to buy, wine to sell, or investment advice.

What the $350 includes

One payment covers the full first year. Every item below is part of it.

01 / 07

To begin

The opening session

Your group of eight to ten enters together, live, hosted by one of our sommeliers.

By the end of the opening session, every member knows the group, the schedule, how to book a private session, and what comes next.

How the year works

The second tier

Jeroboam

Jeroboam is Belmour's second tier. It opens after a member's first certification, for certified cellars of 750 bottles and above, and it becomes available with the first certification cycle in 2027.

It adds two further sommelier sessions a year, first position on partner allocations, and the numbered brass plate for the cellar door.

Your tier is never declared. Certification sets it.

Plain answers

Common questions

All questions
Is Belmour a wine club?
No. Belmour does not sell wine, ship wine, or take a cut of any wine sale. Membership is a structured year with a group of verified cellar owners, with certification.
Do I attend alone?
No. You enter with your group of eight to ten and stay with that group for the full year.
When does the program start?
Membership begins the day you pay: your cellar, your first sommelier session, and the Cellar Letter start right away. The first groups enter in December 2026, and your group's date is in your acceptance email.
What does certification prove?
It attests to how your cellar is held over a documented period, based on photographs and one year of logged temperature. It is not an appraisal and it does not assign value to your bottles.
